Arbor day

We worked with Whaea Nancy, Mrs Walker and our friends in Room 6 to plant trees as part of our Arbor Day celebrations.
It was lots if fun!

Meet the teacher

At Meet the Teacher Whaea Laura did a presentation for the parents about how classes use their interactive whiteboard.

We use ours for lots of different things but we choose dancing to share with the parents.

This is Jasmyn. Can you see all the bottle tops in the bags next to her? Jasmyn brought the bags into school for her collection. 

We decided that we could make great patterns with the bottle tops.

Butterflies

We have had lots of beautiful butterflies hatch in our Caterpillar Castle.

We have shown H.E.A.R.T. and carefully taken them outside and set them free.

Can you help us?

As part of our studies of Sustainability we are collecting milk bottle and drink bottle tops.
We want to make an art project.

Bike skills

On Friday some great people came to Russell School and taught bike skills.

Telele, Cordeius, Ah Ba and Ajay had lots of fun and learnt a lot.
